FTP Rewards Program

When I started this blog, I suggested that a lot of people take the time to clear their bonuses playing Rush Poker because they clear much faster. Because you’ll get so many hands in, trying Rush Poker Holdem or Omaha is a great way of utilizing the VIP program at Full Tilt. When you play real money poker, you receive points, and it’s possible to earn these points even faster by playing at special tables during certain hours. For those that play a lot, the Iron Man Challenge is available, as well.

To thank people for making a Full Tilt Poker download, the site rewards its players with Full Tilt Points as they play real money poker. In ring games, the players at a table earn one Point per $1 paid in rake per hand. As an example, if you were to receive cards in a hand and the rake ended up as $2.25, you would obtain 2.25 Points. The maximum Points that can be earned per hand is three. If you play tournaments, you earn seven Full Tilt Points per $1 in tournament rake that you’re charged. So if you participated in a $200+$16 tournament, you would obtain 112 Full Tilt Points. You can check your point total by viewing the cashier screen from the lobby.

So you’ve played a bunch of Rush Poker Omaha and now you’re wondering what you can do with all these Points. Now you can go on a shopping spree at the Full Tilt Store and buy anything you choose! The store contains many items including Full Tilt clothing such as hats and outerwear, electronics such as cameras and DVD players, and luxury items such as cars and bikes. You can choose from all sorts of poker items such as chip sets, you can become better at poker by buying a book, or you can pick from a huge pile of random things like umbrellas or dog leashes. If you just don’t like any of the items in the store, you also have the choice to spend your Points on satellite MTT poker and get into some of the higher buy-in tourneys.

For a way to earn even more Points, play on the Happy Hour tables with the smiley face during the appropriate times. If you play at these tables, you will earn two or sometimes three times more Points than during regular hours. Happy Hour changes daily, so you need to watch the lobby every day to discover when you can participate in the next Happy Hour.

If you’re a really dedicated player on money poker sites, you should check out the Iron Man Challenge. Maintaining a certain daily Point level for a number of days earns you medals. For example, getting 50 Points for 20 days or 100 Points for 15 days in a month would earn you bronze medal status. You should strive to receive Iron Man medals, and these are given when you get 200 Points for 25 days in a given month. There are four statuses, and reaching a status for multiple months in a row causes you to receive even more medals. You can spend these medals on even better prizes in the Iron Man Challenge Store. You can also participate in a special freeroll where the grand prize is $50k or $100k in a heads-up match versus a professional player! And for the players with the highest volume of poker hands, Iron Man Plus is there going from the regular 200 Points to 500 Points.

VIP programs are springing up at every site to try to convince you to concentrate your playing in one spot. Full Tilt is the same, and their points system and extra freerolls are possibly better than the longshot the PokerStars Big Game has to offer. I’ll admit that maintaining the Iron Man status is not easy, but the goodies will make you glad you went the extra mile.
